Special Shows 2009 feat. Jaki Liebezeit
We are proud to announce the first of 5 exclusive live shows of Phillip Boa and the Voodooclub feat. Jaki Liebezeit, with the great Jaki as an additional drummer of the Voodooclub. Back in the late eighties til mid 90's the Voodooclub used to work a lot with 2 drummers and the people liked it. They're gonna play songs from the 'Diamonds Fall' album (Jaki played drums on that album anyway) plus a collection of classic Boa-Songs. The events will take place in Berlin, Frankfurt and Zwickau, 2 more dates/shows are planned. The ticket pre-sale starts within the next days, tickets for the Berlin gig/show are already available. Take it or leave it, but the drumming within the songs will be very special!

Special shows October 2009 event schedule
Phillip Boa and the Voodooclub will open the show performing about 9 songs with Jaki Liebezeit:
5 or 6 songs from the new "Diamonds Fall"-album plus 1 "Diamonds Fall"-B-side plus 2 old songs. Then Phillip Boa and the Voodooclub will play, without Jaki, mainly single material. For the final encore, Jaki will join the band again and play probably 2 songs together with the Voodooclub. Furthermore it is planned that the songs are recorded for a possible live album.
